Mastering a Mountain

I hiked up a mountain on Tuesday with a couple of girls. It was one of the hardest hikes I have ever done in my life! I wasn't so sure I was going to make it to the top a couple of times. When you have blisters the size of quarters on your heels and you have to sing "Put your shoulder to the wheel" over and over to yourself to keep going, I think it might be a hike that shouldn't have been started. Well, the good thing for me was I had really nice friends to wait for me and I am extreemly greatful that at least on the way back everything was down hill (imagin what it was like on the way up!) Let's just say that I won't be doing any major hiking again anytime soon. Well, at least not until I can get into better shape.

You mountain girl!
I love your pictures. The one at the top would make a great framed photo. A big one!

Thanks, I kind of like it too. I just wish I had a better way of getting to beautiful places like that. Maybe I will be in better shape by the end of the summer and then I will feel more confident it climbing more mountains for more photo opertunities.
