Spinning?

OK, so Saturday one of my friends had a birthday party. Now that sounds fun doesn't it? Well, this was no ordinary party. This friend has a love for triathlons and exercising. She decided that she would have a spin class for her party (she also did karaoke later and I dominated that!). I thought it would be fun to try it but as soon as I sat on that little seat I knew I was in trouble. My sit bones are still bruised today! My muscles were not too soar but I couldn't sit very well and I am only just now starting to recover. My friends all tell me that I just have to keep going and I will get use to it. I'm not too sure about that, but I am planning on going back to the gym. I have to get ready for my summer trip to Hawaii!

It use to be so simple!

I had mom send me some of my baby pictures and I was thinking about how much simpler life seemed when I was little. Today I have been thinking about grading, taxes, car rentals, ward activities and other assorted grown up tasks. I think I would like to just go back to the day when I could put on a sweat band, chew on some pens and not have a care in the world. I guess I will just be have to be happy with the cute pictures and be glad that I have become at least a little more independent.

New Look!

Hey, a thanks goes out to Ann for finding a fun site that helped me get out of this crazy slump I have been in (since I have never changed the background since I started this blog). I think this background suits me a little better.

Book Tag!

Thanks Ann for the tag. I am reading a really cool book called "The house of the Scorpion" by Nancy Farmer and even though it is taking me forever to get through it, due to lack of time, I am really enjoying it.

Well, here is the 5th (pluse) sentence on page 123.
Matt didn't know where to begin.
"If you say you're sorry; she'll forgive you," Celia said. "She's a good kid."
"I did apologize," Matt managed to say.
"And she wouldn't accept it. Well, that happends sometimes. Sometimes we have to grovel to show we really mean it."

Ok so that is more than three sentences but I thought that it would be a little more interesting with the extra words. Also, I would tag but I don't know anyone else who hasn't been tagged already. Happy reading!
